Ownership paper is not difficult. It is scattered.

Why it states no law
This register does not say what any jurisdiction requires, what constitutes good or marketable title, what insurance you should carry, or what any party to a transaction must do. It contains no sample wording for a bill of sale, a contract or a notice.
Those belong to your flag state, your insurer, your broker and your lawyer. Requirements differ by country, by register, by vessel and by use, and they change. A statement printed in a general document would be wrong for most readers and would carry the appearance of authority while being so.
Part III records what your policy says — with the clause
Cruising limits. Lay-up conditions. Single-handed and racing cover. The time limit for notifying a claim. All transcribed in the policy's own words, each with its clause number beside it, because the value of the page is that it is quotable.
A paraphrase of a cruising limit reads clearly in April and turns out to mean something else in October. At the moment it matters, you want to be reading your policy rather than remembering it.
The handover nobody writes down
Part V is a receipt for what physically moved: items, documents and the readings at the time — engine hours, log, tank states — with a column for who handed and who received, signed line by line.
The disagreement afterwards is never about the hull. It is about a tender, a set of spare keys, a manual, an outboard or a sail nobody mentioned. It works equally for a sale, a purchase, a charter or a delivery crew.
