Three lockers, one question: is it aboard, is it in date, and can you actually use it?
Safety inventories rot quietly. The flare date is inside a locker nobody opens, the last spare impeller went in two seasons ago and was never reordered, and the medical kit was assembled by somebody who is no longer aboard. The Safety & Compliance Command Kit is the whole cluster bought at once, so that every deadline aboard sits on one page in date order.
What is in the kit
- Safety Equipment & Expiry Register — your own carriage requirements transcribed with the clause, the locker item by item, and a drill register, 23 pages
- Spares & Tools Inventory Register — what has actually failed, what you now carry, and whether the tool that fits it reaches the bolt, 23 pages
- Medical Kit Inventory & Expiry Log — who specified the kit, what is in each container, and the crew sheet a doctor asks for first, 24 pages
Why the three together beat the three apart
All three run on the same mechanism: a page where you transcribe what your own authority, your own practitioner or your own failure history requires, and then a calendar that sorts every date aboard into one list. Run separately you get three calendars. Run together you get the one page you photograph before leaving — flares, liferaft service, medical expiry and consumable shelf life on the same sheet.

The rule every document in the kit obeys
No carriage requirement, no service interval, no recommended spare, no suggested quantity and — in the medical log — no medicine named, no dose, no indication and no suggested contents. What a vessel must carry depends on her flag state, her category and her waters; what a kit should contain is a matter for the practitioner who specified it. Every requirement in these 70 pages is one you transcribed from a source you can name.
What it is not
These documents record and organise. The medical log is an inventory, not medical advice, and carries no first-aid instruction of any kind. Carrying equipment is not the same as being able to use it, and nothing here is training.
Bought separately, $291. As a kit, $177 — you keep $114.
